Creating Blog “Categories”

Simply put, blog “Categories” creates an outline of your blog that lists different sections within the main topic of your blog. Let’s look at some examples of writing blog categories.

Let’s blog about “Business Insurance”

Within the main topic of “Business Insurance”, we might have the following “Categories”:

  1. Liability Insurance
  2. Property Insurance
  3. Commercial Auto
  4. Workers’ Compensation
  5. Business Life Insurance

Hick Lawnmower

Blog “Categories” allows us to write posts on different “sub-topics” within the main topic of our blog. Each time we write a post, we will assign that post to the appropriate “Category”.

So, the outline of your insurance blog would look like this:

Business Insurance

Category I. Liability Insurance
——Post - How Does Genral Liability Insurance Work?
Category II. Property Insurance
——Post - How Much Property Insurance Do You Need?
Category III. Commercial Auto
——Post - Should Your Vehicle Be Insured As A Commercial Auto?
