Insurance Blogging With Graphic Images

There are insurance blogs with graphic images and there are those without them. It really doesn’t matter either way. It is important to understand that neither Google nor any of the other search engines can see “images”, only text content. I like to add an image here and there because I think it just makes the insurance blog page more eye appealing. If you want to use graphics in your insurance blog, here’s how you do it.

Step #1 - Create and Save the Image

It really doesn’t matter whether you create your own insurance blog graphics or just find them somewhere on the web, you must “Save” them in an area where they are easy to find and they must be in a “format” you can recognize.
You might possibly save your insurance graphic images in “My Pictures” and I would suggest that you save them in either “.gif” or “.jpg” format.

IMPORTANT: The size of your insurance blog images is very important due to the restriction on the actual posting area. I would suggest that you include the size of the image in the image name when you save it. For example: “mygraphicimage300×250.gif”

OK, now that you have created and saved your insurance blog’s graphic image, you now must upload it to your “Admin” area.

Step #2 - Uploading the Image to Your Insurance Blog

I have included a complete presentation about how to upload your images to your insurance blog, but we will repeat some of these steps.

In your “Site Admin” area, you will notice an area that looks like this, just below the area where you edit or post to your insurance blog.

From here, it’s very easy, you simply:

  • Use the “Browse” button to find the image in the folder where you saved it in Step #1.
  • Give the image a “Title”
  • Click the “Upload” button and your image has been uploaded to your insurance blog.
